Prof. Dr Joachim Riedl has been head of the Marketing Management course at Hof University of Applied Sciences since 2006.
He has worked in the service sector, as a marketing consultant at Siemens, as Managing Director of the Bayreuth Business Research Centre and as Professor of Business Administration and Marketing at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
Main areas of research include consumer behaviour, brand management, social media marketing, usability, driver assistance systems. Many years of experience in many industries, current focus on construction, organic trade, brewery, distance selling, automotive.
Member of ddv (1995) and afm (1998), founding director of the European Management Institute at Hof University of Applied Sciences (2003), founding member of the board of AccessMM, Weidenberg (since 2009).
