Research Team Leader
Prof. Dr. Florian Adamsky studied media informatics at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen and did his doctorate at City University London in the area of vulnerability of the peer-to-peer protocol BitTorrent to bandwidth and Sybil attacks. As a researcher, he worked at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SNT), a research centre at the University of Luxembourg, and was involved in three research projects: First, an H2020 project called ATENA; Second, an industry project with the energy operator Creos; and Third, an industry project with the car manufacturer Honda.
In 2019, Florian Adamsky was appointed professor in the field of IT security at the University of Applied Sciences in Hof. Since November 2020, he has headed the Systems and Network Security research group at the Institute for Information Systems at the same university.
