Research Group Leader

Christian Groth comes from the Kulmbach region and studied applied computer science at the University of Bayreuth. He then completed his doctorate there in the field of learning robots. From 2015 to 2020, he worked at Hamm AG, a subsidiary of John Deere, where he managed various projects in the field of digitalisation.

Since 2020, he has held the professorship for applied artificial intelligence at Hof University of Applied Sciences and since 2021 he has headed the Intelligent and Learning Systems research group at the Institute of Information Systems.
